We, the organizers of this event hereby declare that this group does not belong to any political group or party .This gathering is solely a self-motivated and peaceful movement by concerned residents of Vancouver in solidarity with people in Iran .Organizers of this event are protesting against the chaotic violence following the results of the latest presidential election.
The organizers of this event do not take any responsibility for the content of the flyers, pickets, and announcements made by participants at this event. These are solely based on the participant’s independent opinions and view points, and the organizers do not endorse any of them.
We are asking each participant to not abuse this demonstration for their individual political agenda. This is solely a protest to gain greater attention of the media and the world for the recent happenings in Iran.
We, Iranians living in Vancouver, are deeply concerned with the latest development in Iran regarding the conduct of the latest presidential election.
Standing shoulder to shoulder with Iranians around the world, we are protesting the breech of confidence in vote counting.
We are also deeply troubled with how protesters are being treated throughout Iran. Please join us in the show of solidarity with the current movement in Iran.
